The National Institute for Urban Search and Rescue and our Strategic Partners will hold our Annual Fall Open Board Meeting and Seminar in conjunction with the 4th Annual Homeland Defense (HD) Symposium hosted the National Homeland Defense Foundation, October 2-5, 2006 at the Broadmoor Hotel in Colorado Springs, Colorado.
You will be participating with the outstanding leaders from the Departments of Defense and Homeland Security together with academia, corporate America and the media. The HD symposium is our country’s premiere homeland security and defense policy forum.
The NIUSR/Strategic Partners Pre-Symposium Executive Open Boards will meet on Monday, October 2nd, prior to the HD Symposium kick-off on Tuesday, October 3-5. Our Agenda will focus on the Emergency Responder/People segment of the three days following.
Special events for NIUSR/SP will be Monday night’s birthday party for Lois Clark McCoy at the Broadmoor. This will take place after the conclusion of the Open Joint Seminar. In addition there will be a special tour of the NORTHCOM facilities on Thursday, October 5th, the afternoon following the closing luncheon of the Symposium.
